Since 1987, Forma Design Group has been active designing, building and renovating residential and commercial structures in the Venice, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Oakland, Las Vegas, Frankfurt-Germany and NYNY.
• Specializing in creative workspaces that are responsive to the needs of the individuality of each client, Forma brings to the design process a unique combination of hands on innovative and individual design, custom fabrications, and collaborative spirit. We foster a team approach to our projects and strive to be responsive and inclusive to all the individuals that are required to create the structure.
• We create spaces that "work" Â- function is key. The environments we design fulfill the specific needs, desires and character of our clients first. Then, we interweave the form with the function for each project. Traditionally speaking, there is not a single style into which Forma can be grouped instead we approach each project on an individual basis.
• Our work is invested with the sensibility of both aesthetics and hands on practice. Our service encompasses a wide range of involvement including site and environmental analysis, all phases of building design, contract documentation, building construction and project management.
We have been incorporating GREEN PRACTICES for many years, before it became so essential. We have always tried to design and build projects that utilize their surroundings to benefit the occupant and generate as little waste on the job site as possible. Our construction practice mantra has always been: reuse or relocate all possible existing materials. We have just finished our first major gut-rehab and Platinum rated LEED home.
